Mrs. Nellie Detrick, 78, of near Browning died late Monday evening at her residence following an illness of about three and one-half years. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with burial in Browning Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Detrick was born Jan. 9, 1882 in Bainbridge Township, Schuyler County, to John and Catherine Newell. She was married in 1902 to Daniel Detrick, who died in 1924. Surviving is a son, Corbin Detrick of Browning. A son, Hoyt died in 1917. Three sisters and two brothers are deceased.
