Death of Charles S. Dunblazier

IPAVA — Charles E. Dunblazier, formerly of Ipava died Sept. 26 at Humanville, Mo., after undergoing a surgical operation, aged 78 years, 3 months and 10 days. Born June 19, 1872, son of John and Elizabeth Dunblazier, in the Hawthorn community northwest of Ipava. He is the last member of six boys of his immediate family.

His first marriage was to Miss Daisy McLaren of Ipava, and one daughter, Doris, was born to them. After the death of his first wife he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Huck of Humanville, Mo., about ten years ago.

Mr. Dunblazier resided in Ipava for many years and operated a small farm at the north edge of Ipava. Recently he sold his place and he and his wife went to Humanville to reside. Mr. Dunblazier was a faithful member of the Christian church, filling the place as a deacon in the church for many years.

Surviving are his widow, his daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Russell, their daughter, and a great-granddaughter of Eldorado, Kansas, three brothers-in-law, Frank McLaren of White Hall, Ill., Charley McLaren of Springfield, Ronald McLaren of Peoria, and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ola Gibboney of Chicago. Funeral services were held form the Ipava Christian church, the Rev. E. E. Catlin officiating. Mrs. Lena Shaver was soloist with Mrs. Virginia Rawkins at the piano. Burial was in the Ipava cemetery. The pallbearers were the church deacons. Flower bearers were their wives.

Those from out of town attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank McLaren of White Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Charles McLaren of Springfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald McLaren of Peoria, Mrs. Elizabeth Dunblazier and her sister and the Primm undertakers of Humanville, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Martin of California.
