Mrs. C. A. Danner, formerly Ona Shields, passed away last Saturday afternoon at her home in Garden City, Kansas.
Mrs. Danner was a sister of L. L. Shields and Mrs. J. E. Mummert. She left Astoria many years ago to settle in Kansas.
Mrs. Mummert went to Garden City last week to visit with her sister who had been ill for sometime, and was there at the time of her death.
L. L. Shields, Maxine Harkins, Mable Shields and Frances Hughes drove to Garden City to attend the funeral services which were held Tuesday of this week.
