MARY DOYLE

Mary Doyle

Mrs. Mary Doyle, sixty-nine year old Galesburg resident, died Thursday in that city, five hours after she had been burned by flames which are thought to have issued from a gas stove. A daughter, Mrs. Paul Jones, altho weak from illness, bravely attempted to smother the flames with carpets, blankets and water, and finally succeeded, but not until her mother had received terrible burns. Mrs. Jones was slightly burned.
