Newspaper Man Dies

George W. Dick, a former Lewistown newspaper publisher died at his home in East Moline on Nov. 23. He was a graduate of the Ipava high school and followed teaching school for three years when he bought an interest in the Lewistown, Ill., Republican. He was a member of the Fulton county board of supervisors and was active on the committees which were responsible for the erection of the present court house.

Since leaving Lewistown he has been actively engaged in newspaper work.
