Ex-Sheriff Chas. Draper Died Monday Night

Charles H. Draper, sheriff of Fulton county from 1914 to 1918, elected on the Democratic ticket and for eight years supervisor of Liverpool township, died Monday night at the St. Francis hospital in Peoria, following an operation for gall stones.

Mr. Draper was taken to the hospital on Tuesday of last week and submitted to an operation the following day.

Nobody in Fulton county, probably was better known than Charlie Draper and nobody had more friends and the news of his death is received with sincere regret by the entire county.
