VERA DAVIS

Vera Davis

The 15-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Davis, living near Carthage, ate berries of the nightshade and was fatally poisoned, but nothing was known of the cause of her death until subsequently her little 5-year-old sister told of the little one eating the berries. The child went into spasms and died.
