IPAVA — Harriet Miller Dobbins died at her residence in Ipava Thursday, Feb. 8th, aged 84 years and six months. Mrs. Dobbins was born in Clermont county, Ohio, Aug. 8th, 1815, where in 1834 she was married to John C. Dobbins and in 1836 they moved to Ipava, Ill., where Mr. Dobbins died about 15 years ago. To this union eight children were born, four of whom survive her. These are Robert, of Astoria, Calvin, of Creston, Iowa, Newton, of Canton, and David, of Champaign.
The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church at 1 o’clock p.m. Friday Feb. 9th, Rev. C. E. Freeman conducting the services.
