Col. Caleb Dilworth

LEWISTOWN — Col. Caleb J. Dilworth, a former resident of this city, died at his home in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday, Feb. 3. Death was the result of a short but severe attack of the grip. The deceased was about 70 years of age. He was a practicing lawyer in this city for many years, being at one time a partner of Judge S. P. Shope. His wife was the daughter of the late Capt. Wm. Phelps. He served with distinction in the war of rebellion, being colonel of the famous 85th Vol. regiment.
