MINER DAVID

Miner David

IPAVA — Died, in Ipava, September 18th, of heart disease, Miner David, aged forty-four years. Mr. David was born in Ipava, and the early years of his boyhood were spent in this place. He was superintendent of the asylum for the feeble-minded at Lincoln for a number of years. He located in Ipava last summer and was senior member of the Progressive Publishing Company at the time of his death. He was a good and useful man and many will mourn his untimely departure. The Knight Templars of Havana with the Masonic fraternity of Ipava gave him a formal burial with the ceremonies peculiar to these orders. The funeral was among the largest ever here, and every one was in sympathy with the bereaved family. Rev. Herries and the fraternities conducted the funeral ceremonies and the remains were buried in the Ipava cemetery.
