LUCINDA M. (MINER) DAVIDSON

Lucinda Davidson

Mrs. Lucinda M. Davidson, wife of W. T. Davidson, editor of the Fulton Democrat, died at 6 o’clock Monday morning. The deceased has been an occasional sufferer from heart disease for the past thirty years, but the disease did not assume a serious form until a few weeks ago. It was only known to a few people in Lewistown however, that Mrs. Davidson was dangerously ill. It can be safely said that the announcement of her death came with great surprise as well as sincere regret. The maiden name of the deceased was Lucinda M. Miner, daughter of Francis Mary Miner. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, in the year 1843, and was married to W. T. Davidson, January 24th, 1860. She was the mother of seven children, five of whom are living.

Mrs. Davidson was a faithful and consistent member of the Presbyterian church. Her life work was grand and enobling. She possessed a brilliant intellect and her productions were always admirable. She was a faithful wife and a loving mother. — Lewistown News.
