She was born in 1949, in Canton, a daughter of Clifford and Virgene Cardot. She is the sister of Anita Heaton, Camille Plunk, Mary Wilkinson, Cathy Parkinson and Carol Wages.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Hopkins and William (and Michelle) Hopkins; one daughter, Jessica (and Brian) Wittmayer; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Cardot and Virgene Cardot.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
A graveside service was held Friday at the Astoria Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
