She was born Nov. 18, 1941, in Beardstown, a daughter of Wilbert (Bill) and Margaret Foster Newingham. She married Richard Crum on July 31, 1959. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Kim Melton of Beardstown, Lynn Anderson (and George) of Alton and Mindy Davis (and Richard) of Rushville; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Newingham, Joe Newingham and Kaye Smedley.
She was a dedicated stay-at-home mom and homemaker. Her first employment was working at the Rushville Junior High Cafeteria for many years. She later worked for the Schuyler Telephone Company until retirement.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Stacy Tomich and David Eyler officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
