She was born Jan. 19, 1955, in Canton, the daughter of Lonnie Nelson Clark and Bonita Hill. She married Clyde Callaway on March 20, 2021. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Renee J. Hollis (companion Christopher Kling) of Astoria, Timothy (and Toedy) Hollis of the Phillipines and Jeremy Hollis (companion Judith Haigh) of Missouri; two stepdaughters, Michelle (and Gary) Watson of Manito and Marilyn (and Dave) Keen of Creve Coeur; one brother, Leon (and Sherri) Clark of Beardstown; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Jennifer D. Hollis; one grandson, Jeremy Watson; and four brothers, Herschel, Dave, Tom and Mike Logsdon.
She attended Beardstown High School. She was employed throughout her lifetime as a Dietary Aid in surrounding nursing homes, Cargill in Beardstown, Hershey/Nestle in Jacksonville, a cook at Riverview Restaurant in Beardstown and EMI in Jacksonville.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and Guthrie-Pierce VFW Auxiliary Post #1239, both in Beardstown.
Funeral services were held Thursday at First Southern Baptist Church in Beardstown. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
