She was born July 19, 1954, in Peoria, a daughter of Harry T. and Louise Kay Durham Doran. She married Maurice Cannon on Nov. 29, 1975, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Maurice (and Laura) Cannon Jr. of Schertz, Texas, Todd (and Amanda) Cannon of Dunlap, Thomas (and Rebecca) Cannon of Table Grove and Raymond (and Ricci) Cannon of Canton; one brother, Raymond (and Connie) Doran of Peoria; two sisters, Linda (and Dave) Bell of Peoria and Sharon Stear of Hanna City; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
She worked for Peoria Public School District #150 for over 25 years. She also was a substitute cook for VIT District #2 in Table Grove. She attended Smithfield Church of the Nazarene.
Services were held Tuesday at Smithfield Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Dean Potts officiating. Burial was held at Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the family for Mary’s cemetery headstone.
