Margaret Evelyn Curless, 82, of Havana died July 31, 2021, at her home. She married Jackie L. Curless on May 24, 1958. He survives.
Surviving are four daughters, Denise Mandau and Dawn France, both of Havana, Lori (and Tom) Andrew of Jacksonville and Sonia (and David) Fortney of Petersburg; and one son, Jack Curless of Havana; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Gardner.
In her early years of married life, she was a homemaker. She later went to work at a local department store, Hornsby’s in Havana and also as a pharmacy tech for many years. She also managed a Hallmark store in Houston, Texas.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Rex Beard officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Mason County Humane Society.
