She was born April 15, 1951, in Beardstown, a daughter of Glenna Black Lyles. She married Charlie Coffey on Sept. 19, 1975, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Mike (and Kathy) Ransom of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one sister, Jenny Shinall of Beardstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Lyles; and four sisters, Karen Lyles Cox, Candy Knous, Brenda Ransom and Melissa Ransom.
She graduated from Manual High School in Peoria with the class of 1970.
She worked for Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Bartlow Brothers Meat Packing and retired from Cass-Schuyler County Home Health Care.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
