He was born May 10, 1951, in Peoria, a son of Melvin and Dolores Endres Coulter Sr. They preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Melvin “Butch” Coulter Jr. and Bruce Coulter.
Surviving are three brothers, Bryan (and Deb) Coulter, John Coulter and Ross Coulter, all of Elmwood; and two sisters, Suzie (and Ron) Worsfold of Elmwood and Tammy (and Fred) Jaggi of Plano, Texas.
He worked for the state of Illinois and lastly as a prison guard for the state of Wyoming.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. There will be no services. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
