She was born Jan. 3, 1972, in Morgan County, the daughter of James Joseph and Marilyn Ann Nolan Wort. She married Von Clark on Sept. 25, 1993, in Mount Sterling. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Nolan Clark of Timewell; her parents of Mount Sterling; three brothers, Jerry (and Marcia) Wort of Quincy, Edward (and Laura) Wort of St. Charles, Mo., and Jeff Wort of Beardstown; and several aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory and Chris Wort.
She was an employee of Dot Foods in Mount Sterling for over 20 years. She attended St. Mary’s School and graduated from Brown County High School with the class of 1990 and then attended John Wood Community College in Quincy.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mount Sterling. She also was a member of Action Brown County, “The 3 Michelle’s” and “The Senior Mom’s Club”.
Cremation will be accorded. Graveside services were held Sunday in the Mount Sterling Catholic Cemetery with Father Aaron Kuhn officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to Brown County Against Cancer or the Brown County United Way and may be left or mailed to the Hendricker Funeral Home, 406 South Capitol Ave., Mount Sterling, IL 62353. The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mount Sterling was in charge of arrangements.
