She was born Oct. 10, 1927, in rural Cuba, the daughter of Dale Denison and Frances Lala Keime Hinderliter. She first married Robert M. Graham in 1946. He died in 1956. She later married George Cox on July 27, 1970, in Decatur. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Linda Armstrong of Monticello; one granddaughter, Kimberly (and Eugene) Vlad of Monticello; and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Evan Vlad, both of Monticello.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church and the TOPS Club of Lewistown.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held at the Vermont Cemetery in Vermont with Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Henry Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
