Patricia CrommettPatricia G. Crommett, 92, of Lewistown died at 3 a.m. Feb. 7, 2020, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born June 9, 1927, in Warwick, N.D., a daughter of Edgar A. and Vera Marrs Crommett.

Surviving are one brother, Jerry Crommett; three nieces, Marjorie Bradley Karman, Susan Crommett Mason and Leslie Crommett Esslinger; and three nephews, Tom Bradley, Larry Bradley and Todd Crommett.

She was preceded in death by one brother, James Crommett; and one sister, Carley Bradley.

She graduated from Lewistown High School and received a Bachelors of Art Degree from Macalester University in St. Paul, Minn. After college she taught high school English in Bath before moving to St. Louis, Mo., where she earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and taught elementary school for numerous years before returning back to Illinois. She resided in Lewistown until her death.

She was involved in the Spoon River Drive held at Duncan Mills. She also was involved in the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Mayflower Society and was publisher and author of a fantasy novel and various short stories. She attended Lewistown United Methodist Church.

Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Shane Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown.
