She was born Sept. 1, 1949, in Springfield, the daughter of Louis G.H. and Verla Maxine Stone Busch. She married Gary Dean Connolly on Aug. 1, 1969, in Havana. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Paul (and Ann) Connolly of Clinton; one daughter, Amber (and Greg) Willis of Clinton; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one step grandchild; and one step great-grandchild.
She worked at Farm and Fleet in Bloomington, and retired after 17 years of service. She was in the horse industry for 70 years and served for over 30 years on the Board of the Illinois Appaloosa Association. She also was a DeWitt County 4-H Leader for many years.
Services were held Sunday, Jan. 26, at Calvert Funeral Home in Clinton with Pastor Kim Litwiller officiating.
