Howard CoxHoward CoxHoward D. Cox, 88, of Macomb, formerly of Vermont, died at 2:31 p.m. Jan. 10, 2019, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Macomb.
He was born Feb. 15, 1930, in Vermont, a son of Clare D. and Nina May Renner Cox. He never married.
Surviving are a number of cousins.
He worked at Astoria Fiber Steel Plant.
He was an Army veteran.
He was a member of Carroll Rankin American Legion Post #26 of Vermont.
Services were held Tuesday at Vermont Cemetery with Pastor Cody Stinnett officiating. Military rites were conducted by the Carroll Rankin American Legion Post #26 of Vermont. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
