Surviving are his wife, Alice; two sons, Guy Lowell Comstock of Bushnell, Fla., and Joseph Ray (and Lois Jean) Comstock of Eustis; one brother, Charles Comstock of Fort Wayne, Ind.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Roberta Sue Comstock.
He was a member of Lake Eustis Christian Church where he was pastor from 1979-82.
He and his wife returned to Illinois where he served as pastor of Astoria Christian Church and New Salem Christian Church of Adair. They moved back to Florida in October 2013.
Memorial services were held Saturday, July 23, at Lake Eustis Christian Church. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors in Eustis, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
