Jane L. Clark, 95, of South Bend, Ind., died May 18, 2016, in her home.Jane L. Clark, 95, of South Bend, Ind., died May 18, 2016, in her home.
She was born May 21, 1920, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Frederick and Coila Layton Gunter. She married Neal Clark. He preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1978.
Also preceding her death were one son, Mitchell L. (and Janina Bratina) Clark; and one daughter, Diane (and Carl) Cunningham.
Surviving are her children, Neal R. (and Melanie) Clark II of Raleigh, N.C., and Joyce Clark Turner of Mammoth Lakes, Calif.; one brother, Carl Gunter of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
She was employed with the Memorial Hospital of South Bend in the medical records department for 27 years.
Services were held Saturday, May 21, 2016, at St. Joseph Funeral Home in South Bend, Ind. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
