Ronald CroweRonald A. Crowe, 58, of Astoria died at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 2, 2013, at his home.

He was born April 17, 1955, in Peoria, a son of John Luther and Betty Louise Fouts Crowe Sr. He married Vicki Morse on July 7, 1973, in Beardstown. He later married Dawn M. (Drake) Parker on Dec. 31, 1995, in Ipava.

Surviving are two daughters, Windy Jo Crowe of Harrisburg and Skylar Crowe of Browning; two sons, Gerald (and Nikki) Parker Jr. of Ipava and Lucas Crowe of Browning; two sisters, Debra Valente of Beardstown and Connie (and Randall) Bollinger of Browning; two brothers, Thomas Crowe of Browning and John L. (and Alisha) Crowe Jr. of Beardstown; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a custom applicator for Skiles Fertilizer in Astoria for six years, then for Two Rivers FS, Inc. in Astoria for 15 years, retiring in May 2008. He also was a truck driver for several years.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Browning Cemetery with Reverend Don Southerd officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Lucas and Skylar Crowe Education Fund, in care of Better Banks — Farmers State Bank, Astoria.
