Robert Curths, 72, of Pekin died at 8:20 a.m. June 9, 2012, at Timbercreek Rehab and Healthcare in Pekin.
He was born Aug. 4, 1939, in Taylorville, a son of Lionel A. and Alice Gordon Curths. He married Sandra Darr on June 10, 1972, in Decatur. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Michelle Curths of Pekin; and two brothers, Edward A. (and Carol) Curths of Dorr, Mich., and William (and Connie) Curths of Chicago.
He worked for Vermont Foundry in Vermont for 30 years as a core cleaner, retiring in 2000.
He was a member of Independent Order of the Odd Fellows in Vermont.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with John Bybee officiating. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin was in charge of arrangements.
