She was born March 29, 1936, in Versailles, a daughter of Joshua and Mabel Bunfill Sorrells.
Surviving are her four children, David Crosier, Debra Walters (and friend Jim Clark) and Larry Crosier, all of Rushville, and Becky Royal of Canton; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn (and Thomas) Peterman; two brothers, Ronald and Mervin Sorrells; and four sisters, Sibyl Urven, Mary Helen Pruden, Leota Hall and Myrna Nelson.
She was a graduate of Brown County High School.
She was a homemaker.
Services were held Friday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend John Sowers officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
