Ryan CleerRyan Cole Cleer, 34, of Bath died at 6 a.m. July 29, 2011, at his home.

He was born Jan. 28, 1977, in Canton, a son of Bernard and Jan Reid Cleer. He married Audrea C. Surratt on July 11, 2009, in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Jan (stepfather Darwin) Aten of Vermont; two daughters, Angel Rose and Daisy May Cleer, both of Bath; one brother, Brial Cleer of Colchester; one sister, Kylie (and Tim) Yocum of Cuba; three half brothers, Colin, Tristan and Brendan Cleer; one half sister, Tanya Bycroft; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

He had worked for Rick Holtmeyer for the last 15 years, helping with auctions, painting, horses and furniture repair.

Funeral services were held Monday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Rita Canada officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a memorial fund for his daughters through Petefish and Skiles Bank in Havana or to the family.
