She was born May 16, 1934, in Bernadotte Township, Fulton County, the daughter of Harold Jesse and La Fern Cameron Maxson. She married Howard P. Chenoweth on Dec. 27, 1951, in Smithfield. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Mark Eugene (and Nancy) Chenoweth of Lewistown and Jeffrey Gale (and Brenda) Chenoweth of Canton; one brother, Eugene (and Charlotte) Maxson of Manchaca, Texas; and two grandchildren.
She graduated from Cuba High School.
She worked at Mid Century Telephone Cooperative for 26 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of Wiley Lutheran Church at rural Ellisville; National Telephone Cooperative Association; and an associate member of UMW of America.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Reverend Gary Schmidt officiating. Burial will be held in Cuba Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
