Lena ClaybergLena Mae (Hart) Clayberg, 93, of Cuba died Nov. 24, 2010, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born Sept. 2, 1917, at the home of her parents, Earl and Effie Hart. She married Byrl Hilton Clayberg on Aug. 6, 1936, in Keokuk, Iowa. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Max Clayberg; and four siblings, Lucy, Louise, Mary and Charles “Chuck”.

Surviving are three children, Delores Weaver of Cuba, James Clayberg of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Mary Clayberg of Norcross, Ga.; three siblings, Bob, James (Peck) and Gene; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Cuba High School in 1934.

She participated in local organizations in and around the community of Cuba.

She was a member of Cuba United Methodist Church and a 55-year member of Order of Eastern Star.

Services were held Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Paul Newhall officiating. Burial was in Cuba Cemetery.
