She was born April 18, 1913, in Warren County, a daughter of Timothy Wesley and Iva Mae Tharp Donaldson. She married James H. Corrie on Nov. 10, 1940, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1995.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Robert Brian “Rob” Corrie; two brothers, Robert Donaldson and Leslie Donaldson; and two sisters, Wilma Higgins and Dorothy Schnake.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa M. (and Stan) Rebman of Rushville and Barbara N. (and John) Nell of Neponset; one son, James A. (and Donna) Corrie of Rushville; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Rushville High School in 1932.
She worked at Racquet Store and Morrows 5 & 10 Store, both in Rushville.
She was a life-long homemaker and farm wife.
She was a member of Littleton United Methodist Church and Schuyler County Health Improvement Association.
Services were held Saturday at her church with Rev. Dixie Croxton and Rev. Sidney Crowcroft officiating. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery north of Rushville. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
