Matthew Wade Creasey, 51, of Jacksonville died at 11:50 p.m. March 9, 2010, at his residence.
He was born April 2, 1958, in Springfield, a son of Wayne and Margaret Acton Creasey. They preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children, Joshua Creasey of Raymond and Mandy Ann Creasey of Rushville; three brothers, Jan (and Lisa) Creasey and Greg (and Cindy) Creasey, both of Springfield and Phil Creasey of Virden; one sister, Sandy Kirsch of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois in Chatham. Staab Polk Memorial Home in Chatham was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Education Fund for Mandy Ann Creasey.
