Harold CluneyHarold O. “Jack” Cluney, 87, of Bradley died Aug. 30, 2009, at Bradley Royale Healthcare Center.

He was born Sept. 3, 1921, a son of Jerry A. and Eva L. Bunnell Cluney. He married Rosellen Shaw on Oct. 14, 1946, in Astoria. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Richard A. Cluney and Randall G. Cluney, both of Bradley and Ronald G. (and Beverly) Cluney of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Becky J. (and Allen) Smith and Brenda G. Cluney, both of Bradley and Barbara L. (and Lyndon) Walton of Bourbonnais; one brother, Albert E. Cluney of Santa Cruz, Calif.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert W. Cluney.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War 11.

He became a tool and dye maker at ROPERS, Kankakee Post Office, Caterpillar and Crown Press.

Services were held Friday, Sept. 4, at Bradley Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral Home with Rev. Hank Roso officiating. Burial was in Mound Grove Cemetery in Kankakee.
