Marvin ClaytonMarvin Wayne Clayton, 49, of Montrose, Colo., formerly of Rushville, died March 27, 2009, at his home.

He was born Aug. 17, 1959, in Rushville, a son of Eddie and Jeannette D’Camp Clayton.

Surviving are his mother, Jeannette D’Camp of Littleton; his father, Eddie (and Pam) Clayton of Canton; one sister, Carmen (and John) Eger of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and one brother, Eddie Lee Clayton of Sacramento, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother, Steve Allen Clayton.

He graduated from Denver Automotive and Diesel Institute as the top student in his class. He was an ASC certified mechanic working for various garages including John Elway Subaru. Currently, he was a self-employed apprentice electrician having previously worked for Montrose Electric.

Services were held Friday at Brooklyn United Methodist Church with Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating. Burial was in Brooklyn Cemetery.
