Dean A. Crick, 73, of Peoria died at 11:15 p.m. Nov. 4, 2008, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria.
He was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Lewistown, a son of Richard and Mildred Pauline Brown Crick.
Surviving are one daughter, Beth Crick of Peoria; four sons, Daren Crick of Galesburg, Gary (and Christine) Martin Jr. of Ft. Worth, Ga., Cary L. Syrdale of Peoria Heights and Lynn S. Syrdale Jr. of Peoria; one sister, Norma Saufley of Ipava; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Louise Batterton; and one brother, Max Alfred Crick.
We was a U.S. Mail Contractor in Galesburg for over 30 years.
Graveside services were held Friday at Ipava Cemetery with Rev. Josh Moore officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
