He was born April 5, 1952, in Rushville, a son of James H. and Juanita Donaldson Corrie.
Surviving are his mother of Rushville; one brother, James A. (and Donna) Corrie; two sisters, Teresa M. (and Stan) Rebman of Rushville and Barbara (and John) Nell of Neponset; one nephew; four nieces; one great-nephew; and seven great-nieces.
He attended University of Illinois and graduated from Western Illinois University in 1986.
He farmed with Corrie Farms, Inc. and taught agriculture from 1992 to 2001 at Beardstown High School. He was a GED teacher for Lincoln Land Community College from 1993 to 1997.
As a youth, he was involved with 4-H and Boy Scouts and was a FFA Advisor from 1992 to 2001.
He was a member of Littleton United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery north of Rushville.
