Kathy L. Curless, 53, of Brooklyn died at 2:34 p.m. March 7, 2008, at her home.
She was born May 21, 1954, in New York, the daughter of Marsha Pugh Heier. She married Donald Keith Curless on July 11, 1973, in Enid. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Daniel (and Michelle) Curless of Clayton and Dustin (and Christina) Curless of Brooklyn; one daughter, Desiree (and Jonathan) Skaggs of Brooklynn; three brothers, Ken Heier and Keith (and Charlene) Heier, both of Warsaw, Mo., and Andrew (and Tracy) St. James of Eldon, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and one daughter, Daphni Kaye Curless.
She was a LPN for 15 years and was currently working at Heritage Manor in Mount Sterling.
Graveside services were held Monday at Bluff City Cemetery in Browning with Pastor Frank Shaw officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
