Carl Coyle, 44, of Macomb died at 3:42 p.m. April 16, 2007, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born Jan. 14, 1963, in Bloomington, a son of Irvin and Margarete Hafley Coyle.
Surviving are his special friend, Jeanette Lascelles Coyle of Macomb; two stepsons, Jeremy and Joseph McBride; four brothers, Mitchell of Heyworth, Jerry of Davenport, Iowa, Paul of Sterling and Don of Bloomington; two sisters, Helen Fitzgerald of Bloomington and Mary Head; and one step-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David.
He worked for the Vermont Foundry and later for the Macomb Journal.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Services were held Saturday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Private burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
