David P. Corbitt, 48, of Industry died at 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Dec. 20, 1956, in Macomb, a son of Philip and Vergene Penington Corbitt.
Surviving are his mother of Macomb; one sister, Jobie (and Jerry) Wilson of Havana; and a special friend, Lisa Brockley.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a farmer in Fulton and McDonough counties all his life.
Services were held Monday at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
