NANCY M. (SPROWLS) CLUNEY

Nancy Cluney

Nancy M. Cluney, 57, of Metamora, died at 10:22 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, as OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born June 17, 1942, in Princeton, a daughter of Ernest and Pauline Sprowls. She married Kenneth Cluney on May 4, 1968, in East Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Suzanne Driscoll of Peoria and Ann Cluney of Metamora; one son, Curt of Chillicothe; one brother, Carl Sprowls of Farmington; three sisters, Janice Studer of Roanoke, Paula Sprowls of Speer and Wanda Cutler of Wyoming; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

She graduated in 1986 from Illinois Central College with a medical lab technician’s degree.

She worked as a medical lab technician for OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was a member of the Mossville United Methodist Church.

Services were Tuesday at her church with Rev. David Allin officiating. Burial was in Chillicothe City Cemetery. Weber Funeral Home in Chillicothe was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
