Howard B. Carrison, 89, of Adair, died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday, July 28, 1996, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.
He was born April 19, 1907, in Table Grove, the son of Harry and Emily Rinker Carrison. He married Ethel H. Walters in Rock Island. She died Dec. 19, 1993.
Surviving are one son, Dale K. Carrison of Mankato, Minn.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Kridel of Colorado Springs, Colo.
He farmed in Adair for many years. He attended Western Illinois University.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Mary Kathryn Pearce officiating. Cremation has been accorded.
