Mrs. Elizabeth L. Carrick, 93, of Rushville, resident of Astoria Care Center, died at 7:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 1980, in Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.
Born Nov. 17, 1886, in Rushville, a daughter of William I. and Amelia A. Horney LaRasch, she married Roy H. Carrick Nov. 30, 1910 in Rushville. He died May 19, 1950.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Webster of Aurora; one son, George of Orangeville; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Esther Vennell of Hudson, Wis.
She was a member of Rushville Presbyterian Church, Business & Professional Women’s Club and Schuyler County Chapter 694, Order of Eastern Star. On Monday, Aug. 25, she received a 50-year pin from the Royal Neighbors of Rushville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville Cemetery.
