GARNET L. COOPER

VeteranGarnet L. Cooper Of Ipava Dies

Garnet L. Cooper, 73, of Ipava died at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 31, 1979, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Born March 15, 1906, in LaHarpe, he was a son of John H. and Nora E. Faulkner Cooper. He married Agnes Clarkin.

Surviving are his wife; one sister, Mrs. Eva Horwedel, Ipava; three brothers, Elbert, Milwaukee, Wis., Orville, San Diego, Calif., and Russell, Kansas City, Mo.

Three brothers preceded him in death.

Cooper, a retired brakeman with the New York Central Railroad, was a veteran of World War II.

Private services were held on Wednesday morning and burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
