Jesse H. Clark Dies November 24

Jesse H. Clark, 69, of 909 Monroe St., Beardstown, was pronounced dead about 9:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 1975, at Beardstown Hospital after being stricken earlier at Vredenburgh Lumber Co.

He was born Dec. 12, 1905, in Wayne County, Ill., a son of David and Elsie Scrogum Clark. At the age of 8, he moved with his family to Astoria where he resided until 1920.

He was united in marriage in 1930 to Pearl M. Beck who preceded him in death on Feb. 1, 1933. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

He later married Lenora Thalin of Meredosia. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Helen Green of Havana, Edith Fishel of Augusta and Carol Rebman of Camden, Tenn.; one son, Timothy, at home; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday morning at Northcutt Funeral Home in Beardstown with Rev. John John officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery near Beardstown.
