Joseph Marvin Cripe, brother of Oliver J. Cripe of Astoria, was born near Mayville, N. Dak., on Dec. 11, 1895. He died at his home near Rossville, Ind., on July 25, at the age of 65 years. He lived in the Astoria vicinity in his early life and at Cerro Gordo, Ill., for several years before moving to Indiana.
