Funeral Rites Friday For Miss Ruth Camp

Funeral services for Miss Lea Ruth Camp were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Cline Memorial Home in Beardstown, conducted by Tracy Willholt, pastor of the First Christian church of which she was a charter member.

Ruth was born March 30, 1894 near Astoria, and passed away Jan. 26, 1960 at Schmitt Memorial Hospital after an illness of six months duration.

She was the daughter of Isaac L. and Dorcas Beaty Camp.

She is survived by a twin sister Mrs. Maude Hartley of Beardstown, three brothers, Geo. W. of Industry, Rolla A. of Lincoln, and Maurice E. of Astoria, also one half sister, Mrs. Mabel Young of Good Hope, and several nieces and nephews.

The floral offerings were many and beautiful, showing the high esteem in which she was held by a host of relatives and friends.

Miss Ruth Camp Former Astorian, Dies

Miss Ruth Camp of Beardstown, former Astoria resident, and sister of Maurice Camp of Astoria, died at 8:09 p.m. Tuesday evening in Schmitt Memorial Hospital, Beardstown.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon in the Cline Funeral Home in Beardstown. Burial in Astoria cemetery.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
