Edward Curless, 79, died Sunday morning in the Graham hospital, Canton, following an illness of a long duration.
Mr. Curless was born January 13, 1873 in Bluff City, a son of Joseph and Jane O’Donal Curless. He married Lucy Switzer, who with one son, Earl Curless of Centralia, survives. Also a grandson and a great-grandson; a sister, Mrs. Ella Lancaster of East Peoria.
Mr. Curless was a member of the Methodist church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Shawgo Memorial Home, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial was in the Astoria cemetery.
