CHARLES KLINE COLEMAN

Canton Man Killed In Crash

Charles Kline Coleman, 39, Canton auto dealer, was killed at 3:30 a.m. last Wednesday in an auto accident at the junction of Routes 97, 78 and 24, east of Lewistown.

He was pronounced dead by Inmon Blackaby, deputy coroner, when removed from his car.

His 1950 Pontiac convertible, headed north at the junction, missed the Y, traveled north across the intersection and struck an embankment on the north side of route 24. The engine of the car was forced back almost into the seat. There were no other passengers in the car.

A truck driver saw the accident and reported it to authorities.

Mr. Coleman was born June 5, 1911, in Canton, the son of Guy and Mary (Kline) Coleman.

He was associated with his brother, John, in business as the Pontiac dealer in Canton. He lived in Canton all his life and was a member of the Congregational church.

Surviving besides his brother are his mother and a sister, Mrs. James A. Parker, Springfield.
