Aged Astoria Lady Dies

Mrs. Isabelle Campbell Passed Away At The Age Of 89 Years

Mrs. Isabelle Campbell passed away Friday at the home of Mrs. Mary Wickert, where she was being care for the past two years. She suffered a stroke three years ago.

Mrs. Campbell was born January 4, 1855, in Schuyler county, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wakeman Thompson. She was twice married. The first marriage occurred to Lafe Salisbury, who with a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Yoe, preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to L. C. Campbell in 1905. He died a few years ago. A granddaughter, Mrs. Ruth Reiser of Chicago, and a step-son, William Campbell of Muskegon, Mich., survive. She was a member of the Eastern Star lodge.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Cline Horton residence, conducted by H. S. Pattison, pastor of the Methodist church. Interment in the family lot in Rushville cemetery.
